Acts of Kindness Initiative
True Rock Ministries is known for “teaching people how to live one day at a time.” We are also known for our extensive community outreach projects know as our Acts of Kindness Initiative. We provide a variety of immediate needs in conjunction with various agencies and organizations within the South Loop and throughout the City of Chicago. Throughout the year, we host several events to address these immediate needs:
Mentoring for the youth, Hosting events that promote racial healing, donating furniture and clothing to families, 1000 “Back-to-School Backpack” Giveaway (school supplies included), 1000 Bags of Groceries during Thanksgiving for families and Veterans and
Christmas Toy Giveaway.
Each year our goal is to expand our Acts of Kindness so we can impact more lives. However, our goals cannot be reached without your support. We need your help in having a lasting influence not only in the South Loop but also throughout the Chicagoland area.
